Belas Clube de Campo Golf Course among the 3 most played in the Lisbon region

Belas Clube de Campo Golf (BCC) has consolidated its position as one of the most sought-after golf courses in the Lisbon region.

Belas Clube de Campo Golf (BCC) has consolidated its position as one of the most sought-after golf courses in the Lisbon region, appearing for the second consecutive year in the Top 3 courses with the highest number of rounds played in 2024, according to the report by the National Golf Industry Council (CNIG).

The club has seen consistent growth, with a 7% increase in the number of rounds played compared to 2023. Membership numbers have followed suit, also growing by 7%. The number of national players increased by 6%, while the number of international players grew by a significant 58%, reinforcing the growing attractiveness of the BCC beyond borders.

“It is with great satisfaction that we see our course, once again, among the three most played in the Lisbon region. This milestone reflects our team’s daily commitment to providing an excellent golf experience. The quality of our greens, the course in general and the level of service have been determining factors in this success. We will continue to work hard to maintain and raise these standards,” says Carlos Dias Castro, Director of Golf at Belas Clube de Campo.

Also noteworthy is the BCC Golf Academy, which has been an essential driver for the promotion and democratization of golf, offering programs for all ages and levels of play. With a strong focus on training, the Academy has attracted a growing number of young players, promoting the sport and encouraging the practice of sports in a unique environment within the development’s landscapes.

With over 20 years of activity, Belas Clube de Campo Golf offers a unique offering within the sport in Portugal. The 18-hole course, designed by renowned American architect Rocky Roquemore, was integrated into the natural landscape, having, since its construction phase, a high sense of minimizing environmental impacts.
